Two years earlier, single mother Roosa (Krista Kosonen) juggles life with her sweet but withdrawn teenage son Luukas (Elmo Kerosuo) and a busy PR job at a family publishing house. She is frequently reliant on help from her best friend, the pragmatic good time girl Paula (Oona Airola), a weather presenter by day and serial dater by night. But when idealistic Roosa meets the intriguing novelist Juha (Jani Volanen) everyone’s lives are set to change forever.

L/OVER is a crossbreed of drama and psychological thriller. It explores how and why coercive control can be the greatest danger in a relationship. What first seems like a love story of the century turns into something horrific. The twisted and distorted love story brings up a question – who will get out of this alive?
